Image
Well Halloween went off with out a hitch. We and a great turn out this year. We broke our record of 300 trick or treaters this year! This year we had 392 trick or treaters stop by for a scare and candy. We at Spooky Hollow Cemetery Yard Haunt hope everyone had a spooky good time this Halloween.

Trick or Treat

Our area is having trick or treating on October 31st from 6pm - 8pm. If you're in the area stop by for a look and some candy!

Halloween 2017

Another fright filled Halloween is almost  upon us! We here at Spooky Hollow Cemetery Yard Haunt have been busy spooking out out front porch and yard for the big day. We are hard at work decorating outside for the big day. We have 5 full sized props and a large werewolf ground breaker up in the yard. A large inflatable spider, three severed heads on sticks, a toe pincher coffin and some new hanging ghost props round out the yard. The porch has a vampire standing by his coffin, spooky shelving, body parts and lots more including three skeletons. We are excited about our new lighting. We have four new blue(although they look purple when on) floodlights. They're cast a cool creepy blueish purple light over everything. They even light up the house roof making it look like we have purple lights running across under it!

Time to get spooky!

Been slacking this year. Here it is spring already and I have a long way to go to get ready for Halloween this year. Do to people wanting to know why I didn't have up my huge inflatable spider the lights up last year, he will be front and center this year. I am thinking of a totally creepy spider infested porch/yard. Now to find my garbage bag full of hairy spiders and make some spider egg sacks. Oh and a spider victim of two! Bawhaha! bawhaha!

Annual Trick or Treat

Come check out our haunt. Spooky fun for the whole family. https://www.facebook.com/events/313841258977147/?ti=cl

It's feeling spooky!!!!

It's beginning to feel like Halloween. Stores are putting out Halloween decor. The nights are getting cooler. The leaves are changeing to their fall colors. All this means one thing. Spooky Hollow Cemetery is gearing up for another ghoulish season of creepy, spooky fun.          The spooky music is playing and the the tubs of Halloween decor are being brought out. I wonder what kind of spooky theme we are doing this year? Only us and the ghosts know. You'll have to stop by and find out come October and take a peak....if you dare!!!!

First a little about me

Hi, I'm SpookyGirl the creative mind behind Spooky Hollow Cemetery Yard Haunt. I have loved Halloween all my life. I eat sleep, and breathe Halloween. I keep a few select Halloween items up in my house year around.               My love for all things creepy, spooky, scary and gorey extends to my love of horror movies. The scarier and bloodier the better.                I first started going bigger and better with my displays in 2010 and I've never looked back. I start with one shelf for my witch's kitchen and now if takes 3 shelves at the moment. I have taken my outdoor display from about 4 or so Styrofoam tombstons and a reaper to many different displays from simple yet creepy to a over the top spooky graveyard with two large homemade spiders (one 6 feet across and the other 10 feet across). Lately I've been "dieing" to do a bloody chop shop scene.              You stop by my haunt you will notice that I have made alot of props by
